This saw is a Winner!
I really like this Ryobi pole saw. I was skeptical whether the saw would have the power needed to cut through anything very substantial. It continues to amaze me. If the tree or branch is less than the length of the bar, it will walk right through it. I live on a wooded property but use this pole saw more than I do my chain saw. Love the fact that it gives you some distance from the actual cutting. You don’t have to worry so much about falling branches unless you are working directly overhead. When adding the second extension pole the unit is not as sturdy as I would like, but again, just lay the chain blade on the branch and it will pull itself through the cut. No need to apply extra pressure. It is very quiet, and you don’t have to worry about it not starting. I alternate two 6.0Ah batteries with the quick charger and never run out of power. One of the best Ryobi tools I have purchased. Reasonably priced and overall well designed. I would definitely recommend this tool.

Light easy to use
I bought this so I don't go as high on the ladder use one extension to reach out and not be under the limbs.

Works well, can't complain.
Keep it oiled and the blade sharp, it will cut well. Cut various thickness of branches and small trees, does the job. Charge up a battery and hit it heavy Yo!!!

Exactly wat i was looking for.
Bought this to trim some of the crazy (50ft tall) maples in our yard. The saw worked great, battery (1.5 Amp.hr) lasts for about 25 good size branches (4+ inches in diameter).
It's little heavy with the extension and does not come with bar/chain oil.
Overall very satisfied.

Good reach, safer than chainsaw on ladder
Much faster than manual pole saw, much safer ghan chainsaw on ladder. Uses existing 18v batteries so affordable. Purchased fixer house with overgrown trees against home. Perfect quick solution. Need bar oil. Chain is aggressive cut but 8" bar does not equal cutting 8" branch. I cut 5" branches 10' above head without much difficulty. Hard to push from bottom and hold for relief cut, but cut from top works great due to weight of saw. Great affordable solution.

Worked like a Champ
We had a freak winter storm that took down many limbs. One blocked my neighbor's drive way and he had to get out to his job at the airport. Due to snow on the ground, I did not feel safe with my electric chain saw with a cord. Got out my Pole Saw and we had his driveway clear in no time.

Easy to use, great product
I bought this to trim a few limbs, but quickly discovered that it was so much more than simply a pole saw. I even used it to trim the bushes and briars around my place. Great little gadget. I have not seen any evidence of the oil leaking from mine, perhaps I just got the right one for me!
